From the beginning and until now, DIJON focuses on the needs of the customer ... we are here to help you find what you need, give advice about substitutions and help in any way we can. Specialities in food is our business and we believe that every meal can be delicious and special with just a little more attention and care.

DIJON's philosophy is service first, then quality and variety. We never stop trying to provide personalized service to our customers and guarantee customer satisfaction for all of our products. We constantly strive to provide a wide and ever changing array of quality foods to meet the varied tastes of our diverse customer base.

DIJON is open Monday-Sunday 9:00am - 7:00pm to serve you.

HISTORY
DIJON opened in October of 1999, but the idea began long before in the spring of that year when Intoek Scherer , owner and director, decided that it was time to do something to provide international goods in retail sizes. Having lived in Bali since 1993, she knew first hand how difficult it was to find fine food and certainly how difficult to find it in retail sizes.

A smallish opening was held on October 1 with only the ground level fully operational; the second floor opened later in November and we were going full on by Christmas that year. The first few weeks were not too busy but then the Bali expat grapevine cranked up and customers began to flock in to the store which was "just like home'!

Yacht provisioning: You have just navigated to right where you want to be the perfect place to do all your provisioning. Just let us know with an email or fax order and we'll source for you AND deliver to the marina in a chiller truck at the appointed time. DIJON is geared toward the personal service that makes your stay in Bali a pleasure and not just a series of chores!

DISTANCE CLIENTS
DIJON often ships goods to distant locations to help out customers who have little or no access to imported goods. Such shipments include packing and dry ice plus commercial shipping charges.

OUR COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
DIJON serves the expatriate community in Bali and as such we are at the heart of its activities. If you are new to Bali, please come in and ask about groups to join or services to find, options about where to put your kids in school or where to live. We are happy to welcome you to our very special community here. We enjoy being part of the larger community and that means contributing. Gift parcels and vouchers used as raffle prizes are given to organizations as varied as Rotary sponsored sports events, Halloween parties, and schools such as Dyatmika and the Australian International School and other community help projects. DIJON also serves as a drop off point for SMILE, an organization which sponsors facio-cranial operations for children who can't afford medical care.
