DIJON provides a wide array of quality goods to meet the varied tastes of our diverse international customers.
DIJON opened in October of 1999, but the idea began long before in the spring of that year. Intoek Scherer, owner, decided that it was time to do something in the way of a deli type store. Having lived in Bali since 1993, she knew how difficult it was to find fine food in Bali (unless you were a hotel). A smallish opening was held on October 1 with only the ground level fully operational; the second floor opened later in November. The first few weeks were rather quiet until the expat grapevine started up and people began to flock to the store which was “just like home!” DIJON Food Specialities is a family owned and operated company geared toward the personal service that makes your stay here a pleasure. Ten years of experience in food imports and distribution help us help you with all your food needs!
 DIJON is conveniently located at Simpang Siur with easy access to Sanur, Kuta, Nusa Dua and Denpasar. Just check out the map to the store.
DIJON is open Monday-Sunday 9:00am - 8:00pm to serve you.
Yacht Provisioning - You've just navigated to right where you want to be: the place to find whatever a yacht needs in port. Just let us know your order via phone or email ahead of arrival for maximum ease. Let us know what you need, and we'll deliver it to the marina in a refrigerated truck at the appointed time. DIJON is geared toward the personal service that makes your stay in Bali a pleasure, not a chore. Let us know what you need, and we'll deliver it dockside.
The Corner, the small cafe right in front of DIJON, serves as a coffee
stop or a quick lunch venue for meetings or chats or even games of crib
(board available ) or backgammon (set Run by our friendly team, THE CORNER offers sandwiches - choose your own ingredients at last! - salads ( standards and frequent specials), snacks, sweets, coffees and cold drinks. A great place to grab a quick bite or take the weight off your feet with a fabulous Bhineka Jaya Kopi Bali Cappuccino. The water wall is up and running to soothe the souls of those who smoke or prefer an outdoor location. Jakarta Post keeps us up to date and copies of recent TIME, FAR EAST ECONOMIC REVIEW and THE ECONOMIST are usually around for those who have to know the latest.

DIJON serves the expatriate community in Bali. As such we are at the heart of its activities. If you are new to Bali, ask us about groups to get involved in, where to put your children in school and where to live. We'd be happy to welcome you to the community of expatriates in Bali. DIJON enjoys being a part of the larger community, drawing customers from all areas of Bali as well as Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Sumba and Lombok. It is common to have fax orders come in from Jakarta for pre-arrival shopping! Being part of the larger community also means contributing. Gift parcels used as raffle prizes are given to organizations as varied as the Heart To Heart Golf Tournament for the poor in Bali, schools such as Djatmika, and larger projects for the common good such as Bali Hati.
