About Dijon Cafe

Opened first in 2001, Café DIJON is a logical extension of the DIJON gourmet shop as lots of customers want to have a coffee or a snack before or after shopping. Originally sandwiches were made in the shop to help out all the expats working in the complex, but eventually, it outgrew the shop and we moved the sandwich station and added salads, drinks and desserts.

Super fresh with super flavour..

Café DIJON started out with the concept of choose your own stuff, be it sandwiches or salads, so lots of customers are happy to put in their sandwiches or salads exactly those things they want. Of course, the café also has some standard salads such as DIJON Chef’s Salad with Spicy Chicken, Grilled Halloumi Salad, Dave’s Big Veggie Salad and the always popular Veggie Feta.

Fresh, Fresh and fresh is what customers have shown they want most so the salads and the multi level sandwiches are the best sellers year in year out.

Grilled sandwiches have taken the place of the old standard rolls, with the most popular being the Turkish Bread with Pesto, Onion and Turkey. Ham, Cheese and Tomato runs a close second.

In 2008, Café DIJON also added a whole hot line with daily soups, pastas and a number of other more substantial meals. Interestingly, DIJON hot Lentil Soup has become a huge favourite – even in this tropical climate.

A line of fresh drinks and smoothies was added to complement the already substantial list of drinks, hot and cold. The FizzyGinger is definitely a hot day special choice but the mixed vegetable drinks but all fresh juice drinks fly out the door when the weather is hot.
